Responsive web design makes your website look good on all devices such as an oversized desktop monitor, a laptop, tablet, and smartphones. Responsive web design has become the hottest trend because of the growing users of smartphones and other mobile devices.

The purpose of responsive design is to have one site that responds or resizes itself depending on the type of device it's viewed.

  1. Increasing Bounce Rate due to Bad User Experience. Unresponsive web design is commonly slow and results in 'page error' when viewed on mobile, this will make your site visitors look for alternative website thus increases the bouncing rate of your site. On the other hand, when visitor viewed your responsive site on their mobile device, the website will adjust to the screen size automatically and opens spontaneously. Making the viewer stay on your site and browse around quickly, thus reducing the bounce rate.

  2. Multiple SEO Campaign. Since you are not using responsive design, you have two or more websites to manage which is the mobile and desktop version. This system naturally increases the workload of SEO such as formulating multiple SEO strategies to gain page rankings on the same search engines. While if you opt for responsive web design, you can entirely focus on the main website's SEO campaigns on maintaining page ranks, as the mobile version is already a part of it. Furthermore, content plagiarizing usage is avoided.
